Are we in a season of waiting — or a moment to move forward? In John 16, Jesus tells his anxious disciples that the mission does not depend on their strength, but on the Spirit’s power. The Holy Spirit confronts our sin, confirms Christ’s righteousness, and declares that evil has already been judged. If that’s true, then the gospel is not powerless, the church is not in limbo, and the future is not hopeless. This Sunday we’ll see why we can go forward with urgency and confidence — even in uncertain seasons.
