Abide in Me (John 15)
On the night before the cross, Jesus spoke directly into His disciples’ deepest fear: “How can we go on without you?” As they leave the upper room and walk toward Gethsemane, Jesus gives them one final image to anchor their lives—the vine and the branches. In this week’s message from John 15, we hear both a sober warning and a profound promise: life apart from Christ is empty, but life connected to him bears real fruit and leads to full joy. Jesus does not call us to frantic effort or fearful performance, but to remain—to make our home in His love, trust the care of the vinedresser, and discover a joy that cannot be taken away.
