Mutte Chen

Hi, my name is Mutte, which means shepherd in Mandarin. I am the summer intern working for and with the Family Ministries Team. I have been passionately working with kids and youth since I joined the Church's Youth Group 4 years ago, as a leader.

I was born into a Christian family but I fully accepted Jesus into my life at the age of 17. It is because of the Bible's teachings and my faith that I wish to carry on passing on knowledge and guidance to the younger generation, so that I can care for them as Jesus does. My mom has always emphasized how Jesus loved children. Right now I have just graduated from SFU for Interactive Arts and Technology and am actively pursuing a career in education. To that end, I teach karate and tutor high school students. My other hobbies are reading comics and watching movies.
