What does it mean to be a Christian in our society today? Some followers of Jesus resort to fear and conform to the norms around them. Others out of anger become contemptuous towards the culture and the people around them. The book of 1 Peter offers us a better way: have the posture of a person in exile. As exiles we join God in what He is doing wherever we live, work, learn or play.
