Matters of Worship

Most conversations about gathered worship begin with discussions around form and content. From the worship wars of the 70's and 80's, to the latest resurgence of the so-called ancient paths found in more ‘high church’ traditions, many followers of Jesus have been engaged in a quest for what we might call most authentic or best worship practices. But because form and content do not form the heart of worship, we would do well to look at five big concepts that help us to understand what it means to worship God in Spirit and in truth.
