Colossians 3:1-17

Have you ever encountered someone acting like a total terror in public, only to realize with a stomach-drop moment that they’re a fellow Christian? Or worse—realized you were the one acting like a terror? The world is desperately searching for an "anchoring" peace, yet too often Christians give themselves permission to revert to toxic, self-protective habits under the lie that "I just have to do what I need to do to survive."

Looking at Colossians 3, we discover that discipleship isn't about repressing our desires or striving under rules—it’s about discarding our old "prison camp" survival tools because we have been definitively marked safe in Christ. When we exchange anger, greed and selfishness for the a new life of compassion, gentleness, and forgiveness, we stop poisoning our relationships and become the breath of fresh oxygen our world so desperately needs.
