This Sunday, let’s be brave, walk a ways, climb a tree with Zacchaeus, look around, and see Jesus. Don’t be surprised if seeing you, he calls you down from the tree and then, delightfully, invites himself to your house for lunch. With all that, be open to the surprises of all sorts of life-giving changes and transitions.
What an adventure walking with, seeing, and eating with Jesus is – it’s nothing short of an adventure that lasts forever. It might be scary sometimes, but it’s worth it, in both the short and the long run.
