We are stuck in an opioid crisis in our region. One that has intensified since 2016 with 6 people dying a day here in BC. How are we as a church to respond? The common reaction is shame and villianization. Jesus presents another way of compassion. And we are all called to examine our own hearts to see what vices are holding us back from experiencing God's abundant life.
