Carolyn Arends is our guest speaker for this worship gathering. Her message is called "What Are you Looking For?" and it comes from John 1:35-39. In it she asks: Why would the first question Jesus asks in John's Gospel be a question about desire? It turns out we are primarily shaped by our desires and that's why Jesus wants to reshape them and help us probe the function of desires at the deepest soul level.
