 nd I have an event for you!\nOne of the things I am most passionate about 
 is service. This summer\, I will be hosting an event to learn about and ad
 vocate for Food Security\, called “From 5 to 5000\,” in reference to J
 esus feeding the 5000. On Saturday\, August 15th\, from 2-4:30\, we will s
 pend time together learning about Food Insecurity in general and in our co
 mmunity\, participate in MCC’s Poverty Simulator ‘Holding it Together\
 ,’ and explore practical ways to respond to these crises. Families are w
 elcome. \nGracepoint has been investing in Food Security for many years th
 rough the Community Dinner. We hope that this event will provide us with a
  deeper understanding of the issue and its affects\, and the many ways in 
 which we can biblically and holistically respond. If you are passionate ab
 out Food Security and advocacy\, want to learn more\, or are just looking
