I immigrated to British Columbia all the way from beautiful Calgary, AB (and yes, still a faithful supporter of the Flames, who have won a Cup).  I grew up in a very loving home environment.  While I always believed in God, I had always had a arms-length distance from him.  It was through a dark, fracturing event as a family as an early teenager that I was brought to church, and there began to understand the deep, relentless love of our heavenly father.  I met Jesus through the local church, and have been on an incredible journey of learning to follow him since.

My amazing wife Michelle and I have four young, energetic children –Reese, Carter, Rhya and Livia.  We love spending time together as a family and also hanging out with friends over good coffee.  I am passionate about the local church, and see it as the primary vehicle to introduce others to Jesus, help them in that walk, and through the local church bring hope to a hurting world.
