One of our primary goals at Gracepoint is transformation – we want to see people become more and more like Jesus Christ. And the surest path to transformation is through serving others. By putting others first we become less self-involved, less arrogant, less indifferent – and more like Christ.

That is why we support missionaries and aid projects around the world, working to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the poor and to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and care for the sick (Matthew 25:31-46).

But we don't have to travel around the world to find those in need. Over 100 people come to Gracepoint every week to ask for help, a hot meal or prayer. Some come from within our own congregation. Some come from the surrounding communities. And yet others come from even farther away because they are drawn to a place where you can truly "come as you are" and be welcomed with grace and acceptance.

Want to be part of this? Ask yourself what you can do – and how a simple act of service might transform your whole life. Whether you help support a missionary overseas, dish up a hot meal at our weekly Community Dinner, or join forces with others in prayer, you'll experience the miracle of transformation in your own life while you're helping to improve the lives of others.
